Wings Like Eagles...

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

Earlier this year, Michael came in one morning and told us all to look outside. He had spotted an eagle flying over our land. Thus began the daily bird-watching at the Murray household. Kyleigh and I spotted 9 one morning after returning from Billie's preschool; that was the most we saw at any given time. They are magnificent creatures to watch...very beautiful. Hopefully, they will find our trees again next year!

Life is just one big PARTY...

or at least that's what my kids think! :) February 2010 was full of parties and celebrations!

Billie enjoyed her preschool Valentine's party. She really loves her school!
She wanted a picture with her friend Elizabeth, and then Kelby came running to get his picture with her. His mom said that he loves the camera! So cute!

We made pink chocolate chip pancakes the day before Valentine's Day. Yummy!

Then, the girls had fun at their friend Allie's Dora birthday party.

And to finish the day, we ate at Joe's Italian restaurant (one of our favorites) and saw "Alvin and the Chipmunks: the Squeakquel" at the Movie-Ater (Kyleigh's translation). The girls left singing Beyonce's "All the Single Ladies" or as Kyleigh sings, "All the Sing-La, All the Sing-La"!

The kids made Valentines for their parents in Sunday School. Of course, we moms felt so special!

I love my sister!

The girls and I delivered Valentines the rest of the day (Michael had to work), and then we gave the girls Valentine's gifts from us.

And they love it when they get to party at Chuck E Cheese! Poor Noah, the birthday boy, was scared to death of Chuck E Cheese, though.

She's Growin' Up!

My how time flies! We always hear this phrase, but it seems like you really start to notice how true it is when you have kids. Billie started one day of preschool a week at the beginning of the year. First of all, I can't believe she is old enough already to be attending preschool. Secondly, I have mixed feelings about preschool: I feel like we keep pushing our kids earlier and earlier, and they miss out on time to just be a kid. On the flip side, because so many kids are attending preschool now, you don't want your child to be "behind" when they start kindergarten. So, Michael and I made the decision to send Billie one day a week this semester. Then, in August, she will attend two days a week for the year before she starts school. Hopefully with this schedule, she will get the social interaction she needs and learn the ways of a school environment on the days she attends preschool. But, we will also have this last year to enjoy time with each other before the years of schooling begin.
Her first day...she was so excited!

All Day Snow Play!

We were blessed this past winter with more-than-average snow, so we took advantage of playing in it!

Mama and the girls with their awesome snowman!

I just thought this picture turned out beautiful (black and white with only the flag in color really emphasizes the greatness)!

"You better watch out! I'm comin' for YOU!"

My little monkey!

Billie, Kyleigh, and Drake on the sleds

Havin' fun riding the sled...until Daddy went too fast around a curve and Kyleigh fell off and planted her face right in the snow! So, she retired into the house with MaeMae!

So he thought this would be a good idea! Think again!!!!

Bring it on!

Kyleigh liking Aunt Becky's snow ice cream!

And Billie NOT liking it!!! Ha!

And the day wouldn't be complete without my angels making SNOW ANGELS!
