My kids keep me laughing almost all of the time! The things they say are just priceless, so I had to share a few. Kyleigh's newest phrase is "Oh Man!" The words themselves aren't particularly funny, but the way she says them is HILARIOUS! Her other favorite word at this time is "puke". For those of you who know her well, you know she gets carsick quite easily. Well, I forgot to give her the nausea medicine one day, and she "puked" just as we pulled into Sam's in Fort Smith. Billie looked at her with concern and asked "Oh Kyleigh, are you okay?" and Kyleigh (in her growling little voice) exclaimed "I puked!" over and over and over and laughed about it. I've been sick for the last two weeks with bronchitis, and I had trouble keeping food down for a few days, so Kyleigh got to use the word some more! I guess it's just a fun word for her to say! Ha Ha!
While I was sick, Billie crawled up in my lap when I was resting in the recliner. I started coughing, and she turned to me and asked, "Oh Mommy, you still sick?" I said "Yes", and she said "I'll cuddle with you and watch 'The Doctors'" (I'm addicted to this show). I said "Okay. Maybe when you grow up, you can be a doctor and take care of Mommy." She said, "Yeah, but Mommy, we just don't know how to make me grow up!" Ha! If only she knew that she's growing up too fast as it is! Another "doctor story"...at the beginning of "The Doctors" show, they sing "Doctor, doctor, give me the news..." Well, Billie walked into the room the other day singing this except that her words were "Doctor, doctor, give me a kiss!" She argued with me over the fact that it was "kiss" and not "news". Guess who won the debate?
We took the kids on a little mini-vacation while Michael was on his week of vacation. I was sick the whole week that he was off, but he got a lot of work done outside in the yard. I was feeling better toward the end of the week, so we took off for Tulsa. Billie had begged all week to go to a hotel. That's all she wanted to do was stay at a hotel. We told her we were going to a park and an aquarium first, and she threw a fit because she wanted to go to the hotel. Anyway, once we got to the hotel that evening, she walked in the room, and you could see her eyes brighten. She turned around, looked at me, jumped up and down, and squealed with excitement, "I'm so 'cited'!!!" I laughed so hard, but all I could think was "I bet the people underneath us are so 'cited' that we're here too!" Ha! I'll post pics from the little vacation later.
Okay, last story. I bought Billie a few summer clothes in Tulsa, so when we got home, I had her try them on. One tank top had a little heart on the chest. When she looked down at the heart, she patted her hand on her chest and said, "Awwww...bless my heart!" Is that not cute???
Kids are fascinating, aren't they?

Beautiful country and kids!
There are so many beautiful places in our area to shoot pictures. Of course, I had to laugh when the kids' mom asked me, "So where are we?" Ha! I know it can seem like you're in the middle of nowhere out here. M & A were so cute and were good sports, even though we found out that he didn't much like his sister touching him whatsoever. :) We had to push back our time a bit because of the little rain showers, but it turned out to be pretty nice! So here's a little preview. And look at those pretty pouty lips in the bottom two!

Choo! Choo!
On Good Friday, Mom and Dad treated us all to the train ride that goes from Van Buren to Winslow. It was a nice trip. Michael said the only thing he would recommend to them to make it better was to have more wildlife. Ha! All I can say is I would not recommend walking on a train as it's moving to anyone who gets motion sickness. It took me a little while to get over that! Here are some pics taken on the train.

KID FUN!
The kids went to a breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt at church last Saturday. All the proceeds went to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of their cousin Eli. They had lots of fun until it was time to take a group picture, and Billie threw a FIT! So, then it upset Kyleigh, and she threw a FIT! Everyone was just laughing at the whole situation, and I just had to tell Michael about what HIS kids had done. Ha!
Here's the girls...

Here's Eli...and anyone who is interested in donating to this worthwhile cause in honor of Eli can do so at his website.

See what I mean? Look at the faces on those girls! Ha!

After the egg hunt, we took them to McDonald's to eat and play with my cousin Josh's kids, Balin and Averie. Then, we went to Deer Acres Zoo in Hackett with them and their cousin Drake. They were all so good at McDonald's and the zoo.

In this last picture at the zoo, Brad had put feed on top of Kyleigh's head for the camel to get. Kyleigh will giggle and tell people, "The camel almost bite my head off!" In a side note, thanks to Cindy and Katie who went with us. They help out so much with my girls. You guys will never know how much I appreciate it! And the girls love you so much!

I know this is a long post, but we're very busy people. :) The kids at church waved palm leaves on Palm Sunday and marched around the church saying "Hosanna!" Billie and Kyleigh are trying to tickle each other in the bottom picture.

Surprise!!!
We managed to pull it off! A Surprise 50th birthday party for my mom! She is the hardest person to keep something from, but we knew we did it when she came into the restaurant with a baby shower gift for Becky (we told her Becky's co-workers were throwing her a baby shower). Becky couldn't complain either because she got extra gifts out of the deal. Ha Ha! Thanks to everyone who helped Mom celebrate! It was a nice Ladies' Night Out! And didn't Sam's Club do a great job on the cake?

Sibling Session!
T & A came from Muldrow for a photography session with me. The weather turned out beautiful, we tried a couple of new locations, and they were so much fun to photograph. You can really tell how much they love each other. She looks up to her big brother, and you could tell he thinks the world of her too! And look at that gorgeous head full of hair she has at only 4 years old!
