I can't believe my baby is 3!

Billie turned 3 years old Saturday, the 24th. Time has really flown by...it seems just like yesterday that I found out I was pregnant with her. She is such a sweet, caring, expressive, and outgoing little girl. She gives us lots to laugh about! On her birthday, we took her to have her picture made, then we had to run in Sam's to pick up some other pictures. Of course, just about everyone who works in Sam's knows the girls, so they feel like celebrities every time we go in there. She told everyone it was her birthday, and then proceeded to invite everyone to her birthday party. They politely declined, glancing at Michael, and telling her that her daddy was making them work. Ha Ha!! She was so excited for her "Ladybug" party that she couldn't take a nap when we got home either. When I first showed her the Ladybug cake I had made her, she gave me the biggest hug, and said "Oh Mommy, thank you! This is the best cake ever!" She is such a grateful little girl, and I just love that!
I also made a sunflower cake too. It went perfectly with her birthday decorations. I'm no Martha Stewart, but I love being creative for parties!

Here she is with her pink John Deere boots from MaeMae and PawPaw (my mom and dad). She'll be stylin' now (they're sooooo cute)!

She got a princess CD player for her room from her Mommy and Daddy along with Strawberry Shortcake flip flops, books, bath gel and lotion (she's a girly-girl), pink-poodle bath towel, and cute capri outfit for summer.

Just to prove how grateful a little girl she is, here's a picture of her going to hug Kyleigh after she opened her gift from her (a toaster and breakfast food for her kitchen). She went to each and every person to hug them and thank them for her gifts, all on her own. What a good little girl!

Happy 3rd Birthday, my sweet Billie!

Adding something else to my project to-do list

So, this is probably the last thing I need to do...add something else to my to-do list, when I can't catch up with what I need to do as it is, but here goes. I liked the thought of having a blog that my friends and family who live out of the local area can see what's going on in our life. I also thought this would be a good site to share some of my photography that I have started doing and possibly gain some new clients. So, we'll see how this goes. These are pictures of the girls with their new hats from GG (their great-grandma). They both love hats, and they do look pretty cute in them!
