Michael and I have enjoyed going to concerts together for many years. It's just kinda been "our thang"! So this summer's concerts were Brad Paisley, Sugarland, Foreigner, and Daughtry. And to come, in a week or so, the American Idol Tour. Yeah, we can hardly wait! We Love MUSIC!!!

Disorder or Peace...

My friend Tonya sends an email to many people each day with a Bible Verse of the Day and K-Love's Encouraging Word for the day. Technology is continually bringing us new uses, but the ability to spread scripture may be one of the greatest. I think you're doing a great thing, Tonya. Sometimes it amazes me how the verse fits into my life on any given day.

K-Love’s Encouraging Word:For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the meetings of God’s holy people. 1 Corinthians 14:33

I love for everything to be in order! And ever since I quit my job, packed up a house and moved, and had a baby ALL within 3 weeks of each other (back in 2006), my life has had no order. I'm finally starting to catch up on some things. All I had to do was learn to stress a little less and lean a little more! Why was this such a hard lesson for me?

Ella is 1 month!

We tried out a new basket for baby Ella's one month pictures. And she also got to try a crocheted baby bonnet and booties ordered from a lady in Rogers. She looked so peaceful laying in the basket...all for about a minute, then the cries started. :) Daddy had the magic touch that day, though, and we ended up with some cute pics!

Happy Father's Day!

After church on Father's Day, we went out to eat with my family for lunch. Then, the girls gave Michael his gifts: a shirt (or as Billie called it, a new work shirt) and tickets to see the Naturals play in Springdale. The girls love their daddy so much! And when I see him playing with them, it makes me love him all the more. I'm so lucky to have a husband who wants to be so hands-on and involved with his children; I know many men are not that way.
After a nap for everyone, we delivered gifts to Michael's dad and my dad too. I'm thankful that God has brought my dad through multiple heart attacks and surgeries to still be with us today. I'm so glad he is a part of my kids' lives. Thank you for our dads!

Brock Graduates!

Okay, so this is a little late, but congratulations to Brock who graduated this year from Charleston High School. We took the girls to graduation, and they behaved very well. In fact, I guess Billie really took me seriously when I told them they had to be very quiet the whole time because I looked over at her once, and she was needing to cough but trying to hold it in for fear of making a noise. Ha!
Here's Kyleigh with her friend Jayger.

And Billie with Bailey.

The girls with Brock...

Awww...how sweet!
